Sing and Learn French (häftad, eng)

Sing and Learn French is the perfect resource for introducing young learners to the French language in a fun, engaging and classroom-ready way. Designed for Early Years and Key Stage 1, this resource makes learning French accessible for all teachers - including non-specialists - while keeping pupils motivated, active and involved.

With 20 easy-to-learn songs, pupils develop key vocabulary, correct pronunciation and natural intonation.

Singing is one of the most effective ways to embed new language, helping children remember words and phrases through rhythm, repetition and movement.

What's included:

• • Fun, classroom-ready French songs covering popular primary topics, such as greetings, colours, family, clothes, food, numbers and seasonal events like Christmas.
  • Songs set to familiar tunes, making them easy for pupils to join in - no musical experience required.
  • Action songs, repetition songs, list songs and traditional French songs, designed to support memory, pronunciation and cultural awareness.
  • Free downloadable resources including songs performed by native French speakers, instrumental backing tracks, lyrics sheets, flashcards and colouring activities - perfect for lesson planning, assemblies or independent practice.

Pupils will want to sing, clap, move and create gestures, making language learning active and inclusive.

Once familiar with the songs, instrumental tracks allow children to perform their own versions or improvise, encouraging creativity and confidence.
